With roots in Aflao in Ghana's Volta Region, Fela Tuffsoul developed a fascination with Jamaican music from an early age.
During the mid-1990s, while many young music lovers were discovering the rapidly changing sounds of Dancehall and reggae, Fela was absorbing the music of artists such as Shabba Ranks, Yellowman, Cutty Ranks and Super Cat.
Those sounds did more than entertain him.
They planted a seed.
Over time, that fascination developed into a deeper curiosity about the culture, the personalities behind the music, the evolution of the genres and the stories that existed beyond the songs themselves.
Years later, that curiosity would become a mission.
Before TUFFBUZZ, There Was a Passion

After completing a diploma course in Radio and Television, he continued exploring different areas of broadcasting and entertainment while developing his understanding of the music industry.

Rather than simply discussing what was happening in music at the moment, Fela became fascinated by what had already happened.

What would eventually become TUFFBUZZ Entertainments began in a relatively simple way—as a TikTok platform where Fela shared archived Dancehall freestyles, biographies and historical information about legendary artists.
Initially, the project operated on an on-and-off basis.
But something began happening.
People were paying attention.
DJs, musicians and entertainment personalities began responding to the content, demonstrating that there was an audience hungry for historical material that mainstream entertainment conversations often overlooked.
Among the people who encouraged him was MC Natty Fyah, whose support helped strengthen Fela's belief that TUFFBUZZ could become something much bigger than a social-media page.
The idea began evolving.
Fela's involvement with The Booth Radio Live as a co-host further expanded his experience and gave him another platform through which he could engage audiences, discuss music and develop his identity as a media personality.
Then came the defining moment.
April 4, 2026.
TUFFBUZZ Entertainments was officially launched.
The date was not selected randomly.
It was chosen to coincide with his mother's birthday, giving the company a deeply personal foundation.
TUFFBUZZ was therefore born not simply as a business, but as something connected to family, passion, identity and purpose.
